Support for Turnarounds

We can support all phases of a turnaround for columns: You can book a full-service support as well as certain aspects.

Enrollment

The preparation of a turnaround starts with the check of completeness of the drawings. Based on the drawings, the number of all fastening, gaskets and functional equipment (valves, bubble caps, ...) is enrolled. This full-list is converted into a stock list on the basis of empirical values, functional quotas and the scope of the planned work.

Consignment stock

During the turnaround, we can provide lockers (for single or only few columns at ‘pit-stops‘) and container(s) as consignment stock with all standard spare parts based on the contents determined by the enrollment.

Inspection

The inspection of columns is a very special matter. In addition to the safety aspects of climbing through a column, the inspector must check the equipment on mechanical and operational malfunctions. To do this, one must be well acquainted with the various (even historical) designs of all equipment.
There are several types of inspection: Manhole, Dirty, Clean and Final. Each of the inspection focuses on certain aspects. Every inspection is documented in a report and each finding is accompanied by a recommended solving action.
Our many years of experience with design calculations, construction and production of trays and internals help us to make practical and feasible suggestions.

Emergency support

Even if there is major damage and equipment needs to be rebuilt, we can usually offer solutions at short notice via local partners. We have been supporting customers in this area for many years. They appreciate having column experts for all column aspects and solving almost every problem!
